Unique and amazing. This is a working farm with the most interesting plan. Marissa and James are reclaiming land overgrown with invasive trees and plants, making sustainable and natural land. Goats, pigs and chickens are doing the work of clearing undergrowth and exposing the earth, based on a thorough understanding of rotating the animals through the space taking into full account the needs of the soil and plants. It's a phenomenal place, well done! Can't wait to come back to see their progress!

Love this place! Marissa and her family have been so gracious to us, even though they're incredibly busy with her bustling farm, family, and business.nFamily friendly with cute farm animals greeting you at every turn. Wish our kids were still little and could bring them.

This was a real amazing and unique experience. Camping at an active farm with pigs, chickens, and goats was super cool! The hosts, Marissa and James are downed to earth people who are so accommodating it made the stay that much more enjoyable. Tent, camper, rv, tiny house, or what I chose; rental of their AWESOME vintage style hard shell camper. Hot shower, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, stove were already stocked and ready to go. Marissa even hooked us up with a cooking tripod and firewood. Seriously, a must for campers!!!

Great folks running the farm! Really nice. Good selection of meats. Nice to be able to walk around the farm and see the animals. The place is newish and a work in progress. It looks and smells like a farm so be warned. They have powered sites as well!

Lovely spot. Stayed 2 nights in the Retro RVnnMarissa gave us a tour around the farm to get a lay of the land and a bit of education about biodiverse farming and their own history. We were lucky to be around to see two baby goats (week old) bopping around with crazy energy, as well as a recent litter of piglets.nn35 min from downtown Savannah, 10 min from nearest groceries. Close to a road, so occasional traffic noise, but didn't bother me. Rooster seems to need recalibration - went off in the middle of the night. Woke me, but I have no trouble falling back asleep. Should go without saying, but it's a farm - if it's wet, there will be mud!nnWe stayed in the retro (RV) which had a toilet/shower and kitchenette with hot water. Bring toiletries (beyond tp). There's basic cooking/eating equipment, but only one pot and no pantry essentials (even salt), so bring along! Fresh eggs and frozen meat were available for sale and made for a great breakfast. There's also tent camping but it was nice to ensure bathing and dryness.
