Plantation Cafe Bluffton

First time at Plantation Cafe and we'll be my last! Service was good, but food was not.I choose to have a omelet with spinach,bacon, Tom and Jack cheese. Don't believe I had jack cheese and all the cheese was on one side,the bacon was disgusting! ud83dude12 The best part about my meal was the ENGLISH MUFFIN! My son had a traditional like breakfast and was not pleased with sausage patty's he got! For $30 dollars I'll stay with my favorite place Chef's Cornerstone Cafe!

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated quickly but that’s where the service ended. We left because no one wanted to wait on us. We waited over 10 minutes and didn’t even have a waitress come to our table to take a drink order. Won’t be back.

First time ordering from Palmetto Cafe and my husband and I will be regulars from now on. My son and daughter-in-law have raved about PC and I wish we went here much sooner! Delicious and cooked to perfection!

I always leave honest reviews. I have spent many years as a server and service has so much to do with my experience. With that in mind, my dining experience at Plantation Cafe was... frustrating. When we ate, there were 3 servers there, it appeared that our server was new. She definitely made a ton of mistakes, but she also received zero support from the other 2, more experienced servers.nI ordered a bowl of broccoli soup and a reuben with FF, hubby ordered breakfast. In a few minutes, I saw the bowl of soup in the window. The other servers walked by it several times. Our server was sat again, (they were on a rotation basis). She was taking the other table's order and my soup sat in the window. She came to the window, saw it was my soup, but decided to get the other tables drinks instead of running my soup. The other servers were doing side work, leaving the soup to get cold. By the time our server came back to run the soup, the rest of our order was ready. She sat the soup in front of me and I told her that it sat in the window for 6 minutes and it was cold. She left the rest of the food and took the soup back. She didn't bring ketchup or the requested sauce on the side, so we waited for her to come back to get those so we could eat. All this time, the other 2 were smoking outside and filling coffee filters. By this time, her other table was calling her, so she ran over there. Our food was cold by the time we got everything we asked for when we ordered. Sadly, the reuben was awful, see picture below. The meat wasn't unfolded onto the bread, the kraut was in a pile in one spot. One can overlook a new server's short comings, if the food is good, or the menu is creative.nI don't blame the new girl one bit. She presented many opportunities to be helped, but the other 2 servers were not interested in supporting her. They weren't team players and it was aggravating to watch. It is such a shame...

The place is pretty much brand new and really kept clean. There's plenty of room inside and the outside deck is always in the shade sk it stays nice. The staff are made up of a crew of young lady's and young men, but they are eager to help and very well trained. The food is just ok in my opinion. Ive not been really blown away by anything. They are COVID aware.
