Beautiful churchnnDowntown Tulsa is filled with beautiful art deco buildings, and this church is one of its most stunning pieces. Designed by Bruce Goff and Adah Robinson, the building’s exterior has a soaring, 15-story tower and numerous terracotta sculptures. Inside, the circular sanctuary is just as stunning, featuring the exposed pipes of a pipe organ along with a dome ceiling with stained glass at the center. Free guided tours are available Sundays at noon, and you can take a self-guided tour any time the building is open.

Previous reviews are not helpful. This church is still not open as of March 25th 2021. You can walk around the outside but not visit and services are on the internet. I don't know why recent reviews act like they were there they have been closed for a year!

Go for the architecture, pipe organ. Fantastic structure, architectural gem. Beautiful mosaics crafted in Venice, Italy.

Never been to a service, but I’ve walked past the church a bunch of times. Worth taking a drive or walk past because it’s GORGEOUS!

The Boston Avenue United Methodist Church is many things at once. It is of course first and foremost a house of worship. It is a magnificent example of Art Deco architecture, perhaps one of the finest in the world. It is a striking landmark on the Tulsa skyline both day and night. And it is a tourist attraction which is what my review will highlight. The attached photo is from our room at the nearby Ambassador Hotel. While the hotel is pricey by Tulsa standards this view alone makes it all worthwhile. Tulsa has many examples of dramatic architecture for its houses of worship but the Boston Avenue United Methodist Church is one that stands alone ... literally ... from every angle.
