Food was very good. Nice selection from moderate to somewhat expensive. Service was very good. Only thing I wish they could do is have less reflection off of the windows so you could get a better view of the park at night. Probably better for tables next to the windows. Will definitely go back. Great for out of town guests.

We had a great time! Just barely beat the lunch rush, so we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Server was very friendly and attentive. Best tomato basil soup I've ever had! Loved the chips and salsa, and the catfish portion was huge.nWill definitely eat there again next time we go to The Gathering Place.nPro tip: Don't go if you're in a hurry.

We loved our experience! I came here for my birthday dinner on a Monday night. I saw online last seating is by 8 pm. There weren't many patrons at 7:30, so we were seated immediately. We had the chips and salsa appetizer, both were house made. Very tasty. My beer tasted perfect. For our entrees, my bf ordered the smoked salmon on ciabatta sandwich and fries, it was great! I ordered the jerk chicken pasta, it tasted more like chicken alfredo than jerk chicken, but it was very good as well. I definitely would recommend! The food is very affordable, service was excellent, and the atmosphere is lovely. The view and decor feel very rich and pretty. The facilities were clean. Can't wait to come back!

I would like to give this place 5 stars. The atmosphere and service are lovely. Some of the food (e.g., crab cakes) was delicious. However, some of the food was actively not good. In particular, the shrimp curry was an abomination. It was actively disgusting.

Its sort of a gem that may have been an afterthought for the gathering place. It has a great location with Beautiful sweeping views of the park and all its grandeur BUT. They go fancy with the linnen table cloth and wait staff that is dress as though it were a high class Italian place BUT they forget small things. A request for lemon with water never happened. The tables and chairs are of low quality and were mainly at the back of the room with only a few taking advantage of the view. There were even extra chairs blocking the windows up front. There were flies all over the place.
