It used to be convenient for me to bank here, but now they make everything super difficult. You can't just call up there and talk to someone. You have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back. If you want to talk face to face you need an appointment, and good luck finding free parking. If you do, you have a maximum of 15 minutes to park there. If it wasn't for the inconvenience of going to another bank, I wouldn't bank here at all. They suck.
I work in the building where they are located. I have a small partition in my monthly check that goes into their bank. I had some debt consolidation/refinancing work to do. I had a bank issued check from one of my other banks. I deposited it in this bank, because it was convenient for me. The check was less that $10K but greater than $5K. They sat on a chunk of my money for 11 calendar days. My advice is to never deposit a check of any substance in this bank.
UMB bank has served my family faithfully for over 10 years. Always friendly personal service and does not hesitate to help me attain my financial goals and alleviate any problems.
