Great little hangout spot to get some coffee and chillax.
We’re huge fans of Kent Rollins’s YouTube channel. So, when he and his wife announced their coffee shop opening in Wellington, we had to go. Cowboy Coffee has excellent coffee, and offers a wide variety of beverages no matter what you prefer if you’re not a coffee drinker like me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Mrs. Flip Out really enjoyed her iced latte, and I really enjoyed the Orange Cream Frappe. We also had a spice cake muffin that was delicious! They had samples of other baked goods and they were excellent. You can also buy Kent and Shannon’s cookbooks and other merchandise. As it happened, we did get a chance to meet the owners and they were very kind to visit us and sign our cookbooks. Definitely worth the drive and a return visit!

Well shoot! I stopped to find the place closed. One local told me that Kent was suffering from what our politicians are calling COVID and was being quarantined. I do hope he recovers! I don't know when the next this Illinois boy will be going through the panhandle of Texas, but if I do, I will attempt another visit.
