The staff is always friendly and ensure that all my needs are met while in and around the facility. They offer great fitness classes and have summer camps for the youth that help to grow their skills. The membership prices are reasonable and the membership gives you access to all different kinds of neat programs.

This YMCA is a very nice quaint gym. They accept the Nationwide passes. They have a pool that is 5 feet deep at its deepest point. They have plenty of gym equipment and treadmills. There is no towel service which is not a big deal to most people like myself.nnThe receptionist was very nice and super polite with a friendly smile. The locker rooms had adequate space and I did not feel bunched up

Hats off to this YMCA facility for there Youth Basketball Program!nJim, Chelsea and the staff do an excellent job organizing and providing an opportunity for Boys & Girls to Learn & Play the game of Basketball.nnUnfortunately there are a couple of parents (Jason Boles) who don’t seem to understand that this is a Game, it is about Fun, about Learning & Teaching the Basics, and it is about Safety and Sportsmanship.nIt is not about “win at all cost” or about “disrespecting the game & officials”nnThat kind of immature behavior is unacceptable and it has No Place in any Youth Sports. It sets a very poor example to Kids, Players and Parents attending the games.n*It is too bad that you feel the need to bad mouth this outstanding YMCA program for boys & girls.nBut I am very happy to hear that you will be taking your self serving, immature attitude elsewhere, and you will not be returning to our program.nnRespectfully yours,nJames/A Basketball Official

I am a member of the Stanley County Y in Albemarle, NC. I absolutely Love my YMCA,, I have been spending alot of time in Archdale the past several months, so therefore I've spent alot of time at your YMCA and I must say everyone that's works there has been so friendly and helpful. A couple of the girls that work the front desk even know me by name(since I've checked in so much). Anyway I just want to let you know how much I appreciate your hard work and for welcoming me into your Facility. Alot of times it's the only time I get out. Great Job Folks!!

Great gym. They have a child center for kids while you work out. Awesome family sports. Great after school functions for kids. Every so often they'll have kids functions for parent's night out and even overnight stays. Avery Simmons is the Child Care Director and I think he's doing a great service to not only the parents but to the kids as well.
