This is a great site for sunset photography. Bring a folding chair and find your spot early. One if the best overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway for watching the sunsets!
Beautiful overlook, but almost all are on the Parkway! No trails to explore here
The most beautiful sunset I've seen a long time!!
This is a beautiful overlook off of The Blue Ridge Parkway. This overlook is at an elevation of over 5000 feet!! This allows a view that seems to go for miles and miles! You can count 10 to 15 mountain ranges! This is a great location to view a sunset. Have a jacket as it is pretty cool and breezy especially while waiting on a sunset. There is plenty of parking and easy to access from the Parkway.
What a blessing to see such beauty.
