My fiancé and I were looking for haunted places to visit close by, and this was one of the results that came out of our search. We made the drive out there and poked around a little. We didn't see any solid proof of a ghost but, being able to get out and look around at night was pretty awesome and creepy itself, and worth it in my opinion. There isnt any parking spaces so you have to pull onto the curb as far away from the road as you can. Drivers still pass by this bridge pretty often, pretty fast so be careful when you pay this bridge a visit.
amazing place to vist at night i would hope you vist
Ghost aren't real I thought I been lied to my whole life
Can't wait to get my drivers license so I can drive to the bridge at night by myself and see if the stories of the ghostly hitch hiker are true.
My daughter and I love going to off the beaten path places. Every town we move to we try to immerse ourselves in the past of that place. The story of Lydia's Bridge was interesting. It is in a busy, busy place. There is not much shoulder room but we managed to pull off enough to get out. Cars flying by at 40-45 mph was a little scary but we were careful and mindful of where we were walking. There's not much to it, just a graffitied over pass. The paths or old service roads to any other part of it are closed which was disheartening. Overall it was interesting that the story and place still exist. To stand at a place that someone lost their life in 1923 was eerily quiet at the moments the cars weren't flying by.
