I worked in the swim department for about a year. Was I CRP certified? No, I was not. Yet, I was forced to take over all infant swim classes! Big safety risk if you ask me, not to mention quite the waste of money for the parents and infants attending the classes, as I was basically forced to just make up class routines on my own having no experience whatsoever. I received a minimum amount of training with the “director” of the swim department which was absolutely terrible! Peggy was incredibly rude to me as well as my coworkers and the children taking swim classes. Working with young children isn’t for everyone, especially not her. Not sure who’s running the swim department now, but I sure hope it’s not Peggy. I’ve spoken to the unhelpful owner of the gym, Nancy who was very unprofessional and saw nothing wrong with terminating me due to not attending a meeting that took place on a national holiday in the middle of a global pandemic! This place overworks their employees especially, the teenagers. So sad. Not worth the money at all. Don’t work here or take classes here, it’s so sad that this is the only “fun” place for kids to go in this small city, but as Las Cruces grows hopefully this overpriced gym will go out of business.
Not all of the swim instructors are CPR Certified which is a huge safety concern! I would not trust my kids here!

My family loves gym magic! They have so many awesome programs and literally everyone we come into contact with is beyond kind and helpful!
Very good place for infants to teens to learn in a safe, cheerful environment. The colorful paintings on the walls, wonderful instructors, and generally great atmosphere are all conducive to the young child's learning experience. We're so pleased with all that my little granddaughter is doing with her dance/gymnastic experience weekly. Thanks to all for making a wonderful place for children to spend quality time during the summer!✔🌟✔🤗
