Angela (the instructor) has been a life saver this pregnancy. This is my second pregnancy and the aches and pains, swelling and discomfort the doctors keep promising and that I remember from my first pregnancy aren't plaguing me since I've been attending the pregnancy yoga classes on Saturday. I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and this is July in NC friends - this is a big deal!nnI love the format of the class where Angela asks the students what if any issues we might be having then shows us stretches and exercises to remedy the issue or keep it away. One time I even sent her a text message (she said it was okay) because I was getting terrible leg cramps every night and she responded via text quickly with a video that demonstrated 3 things I could do to eliminate the cramps. I haven't had a leg cramp in two months now.nnWith over 19 years of experience she has tips and tricks to help in the labor delivery room, breathing exercises, birthing positions, tips for naturally inducing those stubborn babies to joining us in the outside, and so much more. As an affiliate with Novant's maternity ward she does yoga with the high-risk patients while they are on bed rest and so she knows the hospital ins and outs and can provide peace of mind in that arena as well.nnI'm looking forward to joining the Saturday Mommy Baby yoga classes in the coming weeks. And also seeing all the wonderful new mommies I've been meeting in classes there too. These classes have been one of the highlights of my pregnancy and I'm certain are a contributing factor to the fact that this pregnancy (a geriatric one according to the docs) is going so much more smoothly than my last pregnancy 5 years ago when I was younger and not considered high-risk.

Angela is a wonderful yoga instructor and a great person all around. She takes care in giving individual attention to all of her students, suggesting modifications when needed, and has an amazing memory for her students’ special needs. More than your typical yoga class, Angela enjoys developing relationships with her students and is exceptionally kind and caring. I highly recommend her yoga studio!

Small studio with a great teacher. Very focused on form and alignment. Many classes are focused towards pregnant women so most of the people seem to have been there since giving birth so I'm out of place with all the baby/mom talk but the classes are great.nTeacher explains the type of yoga very well and gives handouts for home practice, which I love. Saturday morning class ends with chai tea!
