Mary Amanda may be the most interesting hair stylist you have ever had. Not to mention a fine stylist.
Currently she has closed the full service salon but still does open air protected, masked hair cuts.
This place must be out of business. When I called for an appointment, the woman who answered (the so-called Mary Amanda?) said, "I never return voicemail. If you want to reach me, text to this number." So I texted -- twice, over two days. No response. I drove to the salon, thinking to make an appointment in person. Even though Google said it was open, the door was locked, no cars were present, and no one answered the door. Pity.
Mary Amanda is talented! My hair is thinning, and it's of a fine texture anyway, so I need just the right cuts to make the most of the hair I have. Mary Amanda does it every time. It's a bonus that she's pleasant to talk with -- very intelligent, cultured, and well traveled; a very interesting woman.
Great location and personalized service by Mary Amanda in a cozy hair studio at her home. Great haircut. I will definitely come back.
Mary Amanda is a wonderful stylist, really cares about people, and is super fun to talk to! She gave me great insight on my curly hair and gave me an awesome cut.
