St. Clair Landing Family Campground

Such a great campground! We loved it here. Pam made us feel welcome and like family. Bathhouse was extremely clean and the outdoor showers were perfect for coming back up from the beach.

This place is a gem! The sunsets are amazing, staff is super friendly and helpful, it’s clean, showers are great and the land drains well. Even though we were there during a nor’easter our area was never swampy like I have seen at other campgrounds. Their little beach area on the sound is awesome! My children and husband spent hours fishing and playing there. There are plenty of fish to be caught. I highly recommend!

We LOVE this place! It’s so serene, welcoming, clean, and cared for. The owner, Irvin, and staff have always been helpful, caring, and responsive to making it a wonderful enjoyable home away from home. The location is ideal! Right on the sound with amazing sunsets, trees, plants, pond, and marsh grasses, with access to the sound for all the fun water activities. Even if just sitting in a chair in the shallows. And bonus, just a short few minutes walk to the beach! It’s really a little piece of paradise where everyone is just so chill and friendly. Thank you for making it perfect!

Upon arrival Pam was very friendly and helpful.nWe stayed on site #14 which had electric and water.nCampground is a little tight but then, so are all the other campgrounds in this whole area.nSt. Clair Landing is a great location. Almost centrally located so if you want to go north or south to explore. We went to Hatteras and got on the FREE ferry to Ocracoke for the day. Did I say...THE FERRY IS FREE!nAnother day we went all the way north to Corolla.nBeing right on the sound, the sunsets are absolutely stunning. Wish I could include some of the photos.nMy kids are all asking if we can come back next year.

Quiet and clean. Hot showers and coin laundry. Located on the Bayside and the ocean beach is across the road and through the neighborhood. This was exactly what we were looking for. $50 a night for Rv.
