Cape Hatteras / Outer Banks KOA Resort

So far our favorite KOA campground. The Atlantic Ocean on the other side of the dunes. The February weather was cold and rainy but that didn't stop us from enjoying the campground. The kids loved the pirate playground and bounce pillow. I was able to work from the cafe. Excellent wifi. Very nice laundry room. Ocean, resort pool, lighthouses, Wright Brother's Memorial. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

Excellent campground, but rather remote. Be prepared to drive 30 to 45 minutes north to do any touristy stuff. If you just want to enjoy camp, and the beach, this is your spot!

KOA Rodanthe was lovely. Facilities were well kept and are probably just fantastic in their season. Check in ladies were super helpful. We rented a deluxe cabin, which had a huge porch with grill, lots of outdoor seating, inside the cabin, there was a kitchenette with a microwave and two burners, refrigerator and plates, utensils, cups and mugs. Television was older, and volume was loud and not adjustable. Close to all attractions. I’m sure during the spring and summer it’s just great!

My husband used to camp here with his family as a kid. I called in today and spoke with Todd about availability for this summer and he was so pleasant to speak with! He checked multiple date without me even having to ask and truly went above and beyond for me! We are so excited to make our own memories here in our camper. Thanks Todd!

We were parked 100 feet from the beach access, the playground and bounce pad were a hit with the kids, all in all a great Spring Break visit for my 40th birthday. The only downside to our visit was the office parked us right next to my brother in law!nLots to see out and about on the island, too. Great spot to come back and have more to explore another time!
