I’ve been to this studio twice and I won’t be back. I went to the core flow class both times. For me, yoga isn’t only about movement and the physical body, but being mindful and holding space for meditation. The instructor was focused on getting us to workout, which is fine, but I didn’t feel like she created a safe or welcoming space for our practice. In addition, she sat down drinking her coffee throughout class, and she was texting on her phone the whole time we were in Savasana. The overall vibe of the classes was that of a high school clique.
I remember when the one month unlimited membership was $70, then it bumped up to $90 and now it is currently $100. This is pretty unreasonable and is not college student friendly at all with the prices. I enjoy the classes tremendously, the instructors truly care and know what they're doing. My issue is with the pricing which is why I'm taking off two stars.
Resound offers a great variety of classes, from faster flows to yin. I especially appreciate their special events, such as the iRest yoga nidra classes. The instructors are very knowledgeable about yoga practices, and they never make you feel intimidated if you don't know how to do something. It is a friendly atmosphere, and I always feel better after a class.
I live in Virginia and just started taking classes on the web. I like having a wide choice of classes.nInstructors are the best and classes have been great!
I love how they offer many different types of classes whether you're a beginner or looking for a challenge. The staff are so nice and do a wonderful in each class. It's a bonus that they offer childcare during certain classes as well.
