After getting ANOTHER speeding ticket in NC, I had to find a lawyer as I live several counties away from where I had to appear in court. I knew I had to find someone but I let some time pass and I was several states away and realized court was in a week.. Right before the holidays..nI took to google and saw a ton of law firms but for some unknown reason, Dixon & Thompson Law’s website grabbed my attention. I read up on them and called the office. Julie was great. She listened to me complain about the Troopers writing Paramedics tickets and then told me about the process. The ticket before this one I had to hire a lawyer. I was happy enough with the result, the speed was dropped to 5 mph over and would not affect my insurance, but it cost me a LOT of money.nWhen Julie told me they also pay the fine, I was a little tense based on what I paid last time, I was hoping I could wait on the fine until my next check.. She told me the price included the lawyer AND court costs and that most likely I would have ticket reduced to a code violation. I hired them on the spot and 10 minutes later put the money in escrow.nThe day after my court date, I got an email saying my speeding ticket was reduced to a code violation, no points, no insurance hit and I would get notification of when the court was paid. I am thrilled!nMy goal is always not to get caught speeding ;) but if it ever happens again in a county where they will go, I will absolutely use Dixon & Thompson again and so should you!

Sam and Gray were nice and easy to work with. They took the initiative, and settled my issue quickly and professionally. They made resolution very easy for me. Dixon & Thompson Law did an amazing job for me when I had a ticket on 95 in Halifax County. They responded to my email within a short time, calling me back and explaining their services and my options.nnMy ticket was reduced to a non-moving violation, saving me hundreds of dollars in fines and increased insurance costs. They also saved me the cost of multiple trips (case was postponed once) from Raleigh to Halifax county (which would have meant missed work and gas) by handling the case for me. I hope I never need them again, but if I do, if you do, they do a much better job than other attorneys who make promises that don't come true.
