My husband I have fallen in love with Edenton because it is so pretty, clean, and peaceful, and this book store fits perfectly in the town because it carries that spirit as well. It is bright but peaceful with chairs and tables where you can take time to read and enjoy a cup of the coffee and tea they also sell. I particularly liked how well-organized it was (even down to the history being divided by specific wars), and the quality of the books they carry. It's also large enough for them to have a great selection in every category, including some sheet music! Great stop on your day or weekend in Edenton!

This wonderful vintage bookstore is an oasis of civility in a hurly burly world. Besides a wonderful selection of books for sale, a visitor cannrelax with some of the best coffee and tea in Edenton. It should definitely be a destination for friends, family and visitors next weekend,nApril 20-21 during the Easels in the Gardens tours.
Little book store. I just stepped in and this time was poetry meeting. I'm not fan of reading or poetry, I was looking for coffee and some magazines but they don't have it.
