Power restored last night to line located less than a mile from our house. Eighteen hours later, we still have no power. I guess it's cheaper to drive somewhere else, then back here instead of getting all power restored at one time. Last time we were out, I drove about five miles away toward Summit and there were three trucks at the chicken houses. I guess chickens pay better.
I like the pay as you go option. However, customer service isn't so great. Let someone with people skills and a little common courtesy and decency and home training answer the dang phone instead of being snooty. Is it too hard to be nice to customers? Sheesh
We haven't seen 1 worker or truck on Thomas Grove Road yet. The lines are still down can't talk to anyone no real time update. Been without power since 9 a.m. Monday morning.
Great employees, as a retired lineman I think the solution to most of the outages would be for management to invest in the clearing of right of ways. The government has low interest loans to help out and keep the power grid stable.
Representatives who answer the phone are very rude. Company needs to hire secret shoppers to periodically call & see how customers are treated when they call in. This is the profession they chose if you can’t be friendly & considerate then this public job is not for you.
