A colleague recommended this place to me while on my trip up here for work. Can't say I wasn't skeptical, but I'm happy I gave it a shot. The chicken was so fresh it was still sizzlin' as they brought out my plate. The skin was the crispiest I think I've ever had, and the chicken itself was so juicy and flavorful it didn't need anything extra. I added a little hot sauce to my bird which only enhanced the flavor and gave it a nice little kick. I'm glad my coworker told me about this place and hope to have the pleasure of eating here again. Pic is of the 3 Piece White meat (2 Breasts, 1 Wing), Collard Greens w/bacon, Mac-n-Cheese and a Sweet Tea to wash it all down. Dang it was good!

Hands down the best fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, macaroni and cheese, pork and beans, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes that I have ever had!!!! Taste like my grandmother or mom cooked it!!!! Lexi was our server and she was amazing!!! Come check this place out.

I've eaten here several times, always good. Today I got the fried catfish. It has the same spicy batter as the chicken. Oh Yeah! I've got a new favorite!

Fantastic place in an old home. Greeted by happy employees and then seated and served.nnSunshine, our server was phenomenal!! Gave us the specials, helped us with recommendations and had the brightest and happiest personality.nnWe had the double meat special. The chicken was crisp and juicy with the right amount of heat. The slaw was great as well as the mac and cheese.nnIf you are out here please check it out. If you want an unforgettable experience with a fantastic waitress as for sunshine.
