I went to the gym today after work. As I was checking in, the individual at the front desk told me I needed to pay an extra five dollars since this was a “signature” location and my membership apparently doesn’t cover that. I have been to this location multiple times and no one has ever informed me of this. I asked why I need to pay five more dollars this time and not the other times I have visited. He asked about my membership and I said I have active and fit. This is a membership that allows me to go to multiple gyms under one membership. He was not familiar with active and fit and told me that other employees just didn’t tell me I needed to pay the $5 each time. I asked okay how do I know what gyms are signature based on the app? He said “I don’t know. Can you move?” So he could continue scanning people in.nI searched under my membership with active and fit and I am allowed to go to this gym. Not only was he wrong in asking me to pay more, he was completely unfamiliar with my membership, as well as extremely rude. I am giving this gym two stars because the other times I have visited were fine. I’ve attached a picture proving my membership includes this gym.

I've never been to a gym with more negative interactions with other members before. I've been all of the country in dozens of gyms, and all of them combined don't add up to the amount of ridiculous confrontations and hassle from people at this place. It's not directly LAs fault, but with people getting in your business about equipment, men OBVIOUSLY creeping on women, and people not putting the weights away, it's not a good training environment.nnEquipment in nice, dumbells go up to 100, usually not too busy, but you gotta put up with a lot of nonsense from other members there.nnNot worth it.

Justin is the man! He’ll help you out with whatever you need and is a great guy! Awesome experience with him hooking me up with my membership and any other questions I had!
