Found this place by accident. What a gem. The waitress was awesome. Great tea, and food. Place has an old rustic atmosphere. Simple homemade food.nOkra was amazing, as was the mashed potatoes and gravy. Fish, shrimp and frog legs. Can't say enough good about the place.

We visited for the first time and exceeded our expectations. We loved the building and the decor. It was rustic and had a good ambience to it. The staff was great as well as the service. The potato salad was amazing and took some home too. Everyone was personable. We will come back!

The decor was cute, with its country-rustic theme, but that’s about it. My family and I waited 2 hours after ordering, on a calm Sunday afternoon, just to be served subpar food at best. I ordered a 1/2 burger and barely got a patty on a bun, with a literal chunk of lettuce I had to break apart. Then halfway through my burger I found a long blond hair, none of family has blonde hair... I’m beyond disappointed in the food and service, and my family shall not be dining here again.

When faced with a very limited choice (the only restaurant open today) we ate here this day. The food was, well, truthfully, McDonald’s or some other fast food would have been just as good. The menu was just a printed sheet of paper that looks as though it’s been used ever since 1965. The staff was friendly and accommodating. So if you’re in the neighborhood, stop in and decide for yourself. After all, you will be the best judge.nPlease hit like if this review helps you to decide.

Food wasn’t to bad we had the fried chicken special and the chicken Parmesan. Both were good but the corn had a sour taste to it. The waitress we had was new and you could tell she was learning but she still did good. Place was busy and had a rustic country environment which I liked and very fitting with the town. They did have a plug-in that didn’t have a cover on it which being right by the table where children sit isn’t good. All in all not a bad place to eat and the staff was very friendly.
