Its a good gym, but I have not been back since the virus started. They have a tempered check, and a mask requirement. Well I walk by there one day I wanted the main workers it's behind the desk with outside with the door open which is no big deal but she didn't have a mass gone and she was talking to someone that didn't have a mask on so if she's going outside should she wear a mask that surprised me and I think that should be addressed
Great local gym, very clean, friendly staff and excellent variety of equipment and weights! This is a gym EVERYONE feels comfortable and welcome at!
Its a very clean gym and it has great equipment. The workers are nice and helpful. They even have their own bar for different types of shakes. The only downsides are the really high price and how cramped the gym feels.
Been going here for a year now. Everyone is friendly. Staff and users alike. A great place to get your workout on.
I had the worst business experience of my life at The Workout Company today. The male owner screamed at me, while at the front desk in front of the entire gym. Why? Because I didn’t scan in.nWe have been respectable members of the workout company for 4+ years, pay monthly on-time, clean off/re-rack equipment, etc. My scan card broke 3x, and each time they cut it down and punched a new hole in it. It broke for the 4th time and hasn’t been on my keys. I work out probably 2x a week without my husband, and that’s when I do not check in…4x a week my husband checks us in with his card. About a week ago the front desk woman asked me to check in and I explained my situation. She said I would have to buy a new one. I told her how long we have been members, how many times it has been cut down and re-punched, and asked if we could just get a new one…you know, like they send out new credit cards every couple of years. I was clear, and matter-of-fact. She said she would talk to the owner and that was that….nToday: I walk past the desk and the owner yells, “You know you have to check in. You never check in!” In shock this man is yelling at me I approach the desk and before I can get 3 words out he cuts me off; “I see you walking past here thinking you are too good for everyone to check in, you have to check in!” In a loss for words because this man is yelling at me (face red) in front of everyone; “Are you serious?” He yells, “Yes I’m serious, you walk by here thinking you’re too good. Everyone has to check in. I have 2,000+ and they pay for new cards. You were condescending to my receptionist the other day. You just think you can get one for free?!”n“Wow, I can’t believe you are talking to me this way, I’m just going to cancel.” His response (still yelling, face red), “Go ahead and cancel, we don’t need your money! We normally give you a month to cancel, but I won’t give you that. You can just do it now!”nMe, “Okay, and I’ll make sure I tell all the people I referred here how you are acting.”nHim, “go ahead tell them! We don’t need your money or theirs! We’ve got 2,000+ members.”nI can’t even put into words how scared and embarrassed I felt standing at the desk while this man just yelled at me like this…over checking in.nI understand the importance of checking in. My card was broken off in the bottom of my purse and I should have gotten it out to check in. I didn’t’ because it was a pain in the butt. HOWEVER never should you ever scream and yell at a customer like that. I am appalled by his behavior. His behavior was completely unprofessional.nLater he told my husband that he was upset that a random person came in, stole things, and showered. Doe that justify him yelling at me like that? No, nothing does.
