This campground is first class and one I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay for a weekend or a long term camper. We have found the owners to be very welcoming and accommodating to the first time visitors as well as the ones that have been here since the opening of the campground. It doesn't matter if it is a holiday weekend or just a normal summer weekend the owners are out including all who want to be included in the weekend activities. Yes, as any worthwhile campground they do have a set of rules that all campers are asked to follow. We have looked at many campgrounds in Mark Twain Lake area and this was our choice.

Oh my goodness! This place was absolutely lovely! All of the campers are very friendly! The owners were the most genuine people around. It is so open! I love the way people are welcoming around the camp fire and in the previllion! It makes it seem like a home away from home! How wonderful !!

We have stayed there for short visits the last two years and have found the owners very helpful and accommodating. The campground was as neat as a pin and the facilities and utilities first class.nDennis Middleton

Great place to stay. The owners have basic rules to keep the campground nice.the place is very well maintained and the people are very friendly. Plus close access to all of the Mark Twain Lake parks and boat ramps.
