Inedible. I just threw away $40 worth of food. They wrap the meat in saran wrap and you can actually taste it on the meat. The brisket was completely dried out and had a horrid flavor. The turkey was floppy and had a texture like Jello. The beans had a strange tangy flavor and they threw in this shredded beef stuff that I didn't order that was really strange tasting (texture like refried beans and tasted like how a ripe armpit smells) - I shudder to think of what happened to it - it went right into the trash. The kielbasa and rolls were decent though. The staff seemed stressed out and didn't make much eye contact. I am not sure of what is going on here but I won't be back.

We are in KC for a weekend get out of town trip. We selected Dickie’s because it was close to our hotel. Let me start by saying I judge bbq at times. The pulled pork was average. I would expect to get this product from a drive through fast food establishment not a sit down bbq chain. The brisket was chewy and hard except for a few bites. The baked potato casserole was Luke warm and barely flavored. The baked beans were okay but not an award winner. On top of this the corn bread muffins we bought were just under freezer cold. The best part of the meal was the Texas Toast. As for service the staff was polite. The three working consisted of a 50’s year old and two high school age kids. One of the kids appeared to be in charge. They did not get our order correct. In addition, another customer complained as their muffins were not done in the middle. We were the only customers in the restaurant.nnI gave them two stars because they support local first responders.

The meats are delicious and the original sauce is great! The sides are just ok, had the potato casserole and it was nothing special. The green beans were tasty. The waffle fries were cooked fresh but were hard. The coleslaw is not as sweet as I am use to, that's not bad just different. The kids meals are enough food for my 6 year old but my 9 year old was still hungry. The westerner sandwich is great and very filling. I would eat here again but not my first choice.

3 stars for the service, but the quality of food is horrible. It's not the workers fault, but the cooperations. If you're going to sell food and call it quality, make sure its going to atleast taste good.
