Walkersville Safeway it's the best. They focus on an excellent customer service. They are so good they know my child by name. I love them.

Quick in, quick out. Staff is *extremely* helpful! Shout out to Laura B.; since I've shopped at Safeway, she is always willing to help out and go the extra mile (helping find food items, making sure I'm able to quickly check-out, etc...). There are a lot of grocery store options in Frederick, but it is the friendliness of the staff (Laura B.) that keeps me coming back to Safeway in Walkersville!

Staff is friendly and nice, but lines can be long (which is the norm for Safeway stores since they typically understaff). Selection is good save for meats, especially the ones on sale. They go fast and have limited selection each day. Store is clean and neat. However, it's in that part of the county, so you'll have more people improperly wearing masks, but that's not the store's fault.

Do not do delivery from Safeway. I submitted my order yesterday at 12noon, and they couldn't deliver between the window I chose for 7pm to 9pm. So I stayed up until midnight waiting for it to be delivered. It wasn't. When I woke up this morning, there was an email saying they couldn't fulfill my order yesterday and I needed to reschedule my delivery time. I choose between 12noon and 2pm today. It just came finally at 5:15pm and all of the dairy products (milk) are missing! I have no milk for the week! Ugh!
