Thank you so much!nnMy 21 year old daughter broke down in Frederick, MD., halfway through her 1,000 mile moving trip with her entire life's possessions packed into her Jeep. The local Jeep dealership told her the car needed a $5,000 transmission repair, which would have devastated her financially and spiritually.nnAs a desperate alternative, she went across the street to U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer to rent a small truck and tow bar so she could finish the trip and fix the car later.nnThese good people were extremely helpful. Not only did they offer to give her a second opinion on the Jeep at no charge, they figured out that the transmission may not be as dead as the dealership stated. With genuine concern for my daughter's safety, they recommended not performing the transmission repair now, but towing it to the final destination and doing the work there. This advice cost them some business, but was the right and moral thing to do.nnThen they helped her load the Jeep to the tow bar and showed her how to operate the truck (you know...using mirrors and backing up...stuff that is not intuitive to young adults).nnI cannot thank you folks enough. You helped out my daughter when she deeply needed honesty and security. I am in your debt.

Don't rent from this location! Our truck wasn't full of gas, and the representative didn't change it in the computer system for us. He wrote a note on the paperwork, which we had to explain ourselves to the location we turned the truck into out of state. The representative also didn't look at the vehicle we were planning to tow to see if it would make the clearance necessary to drive it onto the two-wheel tow dolly, nor did he provide any guidance or assistance for properly loading our vehicle on the tow-dolly. This is at a gas station. Their lot is uneven and partially gravel, so there was not a clean, flat surface on which to drive a passenger vehicle onto the two-wheel dolly. The representative was unprofessional and could have cared less. We ended up at a different U-haul location later that day; this different U-haul dealer was able to provide proper guidance and got us the full-vehicle tow trailer because the two-wheel tow dolly was not appropriate for our passenger vehicle. Wish we had insisted upon going to the other location to begin with. It certainly would have saved us some time, stress, and vehicle damage. I recommend getting the insurance they offer with the tow dolly.

Stopped in here when they were locking up and the guy working was very nice and let me rent a truck anyway. It was clean/no issues. Dropped it off after hours and got a confirmation email first thing in the morning. No problems at all...
