Trails were clear and easy to follow. Can see much from migratory bird homes to colonial ruins. Trails are well paved and easy wheelchair access. See the visitor center first. Parking ample and well marked.

This is a wonderful place to take the family!!nThe nature center has some interesting small anamials that can be handled with the aid of the very kind and informative staff. The trails outside are well marked and have different themes. You can walk down to Mink Hollow and go streambed walking. All of this fun and beauty was free!! Thank you Frederick County!!

This is a great little trail for young kids! There are boxes set up along the trail full of natural items (or nature themes items) for children to explore. Hear a stuffed bird chirp, smell a spice bush branch, feel the soft needles of a fir tree. This easy to walk path is perfect for kids and adults of all ages.

Great spot for families! They have a playground, fields, trails, a creek, toys, and live animals like snakes, turtles, and frogs.
