Beautiful park with unique features such as a quarry and lime kiln to explore. Paved trails and a playground make it an excellent destination for families with children of any age. The nature center is closed for renovations. It was wonderful before so it'll be even better when it reopens.
Great park and if I said otherwise I'd be lime'n (The joke makes more sense once you see the lime kiln on property. You'll for sure laugh then.)nnGreat playground for any age kiddo. Plenty of natural space to run and explore. Lots of nature as well, pond on site for some catch and release fishing in the front pond, and lots of turtles and fish to see in the quarry.nnNo word if the quarry is haunted.
This is a very clean and picturesque park. There's a nature center where you can hold animals (mainly reptiles/amphibians) Two Ponds one can be fished.
Easy fun trails, saw lots of birds, can't wait to see how it looks when the trees are fuller!
Nice to have this still around after all these years. Hopefully the new developments do not swallow it all up. Great place to see turtles in the summer !
