Frederick Senior Center

I love the Senior Center. The first Friday of every month they hand out food for qualified seniors. Always helpful. They have a calendar full of classes of all kinds. Dept. Of Aging has a bus to take you there if you live within the 3 mile radius. You can eat lunch, take classes, some trips. Just register and interview with them. They will let you know what services are available to you! Meal on wheels also! A great bunch of people!! Nothing to lose, but much to gain!

Just took my first class there, needle felting. It was so much fun. Loved it! I'll be taking more classes for sure .

There are a ton of activities to get involved in. They have a lunch Cafe, you can go in and eat for cheap which is always helpful. I'm taking a line dancing class and it's so much fun. This harder than I thought but very much fun. If you're senior absolutely sign up get involved take advantage of some of the programs they have helped yourself have some fun again because this is exactly what my wife and I are doing. Absolutely worth the trip, four thumbs up

For anyone who might be a senior and in the Frederick area, if you haven't come here yet then get off your keister and get the heck in here. There's a ton of activities, and lots of nice people to meet. You can even get food pretty cheaply. If you feel you want to volunteer time, and have a lot of areas you can help out in. If you're a senior, get in here and Avail yourself of the resources. That's an order! Well worth the trip, three thumbs up.

The classes I am taking for the first time are grate. The teachers are wonderful, can't wait until next Monday. Thanks for providing such a wonderful place to come.
