December 12...only two state parks open...thank goodness! Our family enjoyed camping for the final two nights of the season. Looking forward to returning next Spring.
Nice campground experience. Offers campsites that have a nice amount of space and are pretty well separated. Bathroom facilities were ok, a few too many piles of dead flies for my preference but we made it work. They do offer you a pass that lets you get into the Falls area without paying, which is very convenient.
Liked it enough that we spent 2 months as camp hosts!
This place went above and beyond to accommodate us 3 hikers that hiked from Gambrills and was looking for a place to camp. Everything was reserved but they had a closed site that they allowed us to put our hammocks up in the trees so we could sleep and complete our hike the next day.
Very spacious campsites, clean facilities, and nice people. Very easy to book and stay with no contact. We'll definitely be coming back!
