Lovely, lovely place! Michael is kind and attentive.nnYou can order a big pot of hot tea with cream and sugar and it’s served in delicate cups and saucers—this is everything I want in a tea room.nnThere are gluten free options available as far as food, including a satisfying shepherd’s pie. I highly recommend the gluten free scones with clotted cream and lemon curd.nnI’ve been here many times and it’s always been a fantastic experience. Good for a date or spending time with family members.

Good tea.nThis place has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.nThe owners are the type of people who make you feel at home in such a way that you will want to become a regular, and a friend.nThe garden is simply a haven.nI will be visiting any and every time I am back in the area.

I happened upon this gem while exploring downtown. You can sit down and have a pot of tea for a reasonable price. And the owner is friendly and British.

We've eaten here three times so far. The food is not inexpensive but it is reasonably priced for the quality and taste, and the experience. Their tea and coffee are excellent! The young woman who waited on us was sweet and attentive. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Well worth visiting, especially if you want to experience real English food.
