Good playground for the kids to play on. Of course the restrooms were closed so we found a nice tree to pee on.
Got rid of airplane and tank or it would be five awesome trails there to
although vehicles continually disappear (presumably to show up, unexplained, in the yards of persons in different parts of the world,) constitution partayyyyyy is a wonderful place to stand in the frozen wind, watch your hat blow off into the woods, and stare at all of the marble rings wondering how, exactly, one plays marbles and when such things might happen there. years I've lived in Cumberland, but never have I seen a single marble. there WAS once a sign over on bedford street referring to some champion marble team from the 1700s, but beyond that the town's ties to the sport is seemingly phantasmagorical.nnalso the place is a nest, occasionally. there are trails, some well maintained, others not, which might lead one off into a vanishing place and time, to become lost in the mists, if one is so inclined.
Beautiful park. Well maintained. My kids n.v had a blast here and other attendees were really nice.
I take my 2 kitties to play in woods behind duck pond (after we feed them & goose)! We enjoy this nature hike very much!!
