Great food and nice location near the canal. I’m a local and love this place. The food is pretty good, the prices are higher but it’s worth it. BEST crab dip! You have to get it.parking is a headache due to location but I love the food.
The cream of crab soup and the fresh raw oysters were EXCELLENT. The service was timely, nice and very welcoming. Soft shell crab sandwich..wasn't horrible, wasn't good. All in all, happy I stopped in.
Good thing I'm fat, so I could eat it all. Absolutely fantastic place. I would definitely come here again. The crab cakes were first rate.
We stopped for lunch in the middle of a bike ride on the C&O Canal and Great Allegheny Passage. We sat on the patio with our bikes right on the other side of the fence from the table, which was very reassuring.nnI had the crab soup, and my wife had the cream of crab soup and both were very tasty with a lot of crab flavor. My oyster sandwich was good. The coconut shrimp appetizer was only okay, I'll look for another option next time.nnGreat location. As implied above, there will definitely be a next time for us.
Definitely stopping at again, finally stopped after years of seeing the sign from the highway..The staff, outdoor seating by the canal, the crab cake sandwich, calamari, fish and chips were all extraordinary. Stop only if you want a great time with great food.
