We had a great time. As a mother, I wanted something to do with my son on his spring break that will be meaningful. He had such a wonderful time. The boat was a little crowded and no one explained to us about the buffet process but otherwise it was cool. We will return..and Ms. Peggy was so helpful in the gift shop and it was the most affordable gift shop ever!
First time on the Mississippi! We booked this trip last minute and really enjoyed it. The guide gave insightful information about the history of New Orleans and the River. The live band was GREAT! They played for about an hour. It was such a pleasure to listen to local music, feel the breeze and the sun. It really takes you back in time. Relaxing, unique and informative.
We went on a Saturday lunch cruise and I proposed to my girlfriend on board. I told them when I bought the tickets and they helped me plan it out over 2 weeks with the host Austin. Thanks again Austin, you were extremely helpful. Also Kale the photographer was great. Also the food was great as well as the jazz! Highly recommend.
We did the live jazz dinner cruise. Paid $160. It was a pretty terrible experience. They only give you 20 minutes to eat your dinner. Fountain drinks are not included in the price of dinner. They were terribly understaffed in the bar area on the first floor and the bartender actually walked out with a huge line of people waiting. Super unprofessional. Kind of dirty. We were asked to leave before dessert was even served because there's another group that comes in right after the first group. When we went it was very cold and not enough indoor seating...nnThe food was really good. The service was not great. The live music is three musicians in a room that isn't a separate location on the boat. I guess technically it's live music but you don't get to actually experience the music. They just play it over the loud system. That was a bit misleading.
The best time ever!!! We got the lunch buffet, and it was delicious and a perfect addition into travelling down the river and seeing sights only available by boat. The gift shop was super cute and the deals were great. My husband forgot sunglasses(which you definitely need when its sunny) and they had cheap souvenir sunglasses that were perfect. Loved it!!
