When we arrived we were not greeted. Were informed they were sold out of andouille and didn’t expect we would be able to get any in the next few days since it was Xmas week (went on 12/22) Bought a $20 pecan pie...sticker shock at the register, should have put it back. Asked if their pepper jelly was house made and spicy...clerk said she would finish ringing us up and then go ask because she didn’t know. On Xmas eve, cut into the overpriced pie and Caro syrup spilled out...custard was not set. Very disappointing experience overall.

Hands-down the best smoke house in the area. Their Chicken Andouille Gumbo is excellent.

The anduille burger was absolutely fantastic! It's worth the drive in from New Orleans honestly.

Placed an online order. Ten days later still had not shipped out. I called and asked what was taking so long. Lady on the phone said they just need to make more Andouille to add to my order. So you are telling me it takes TEN days to smoke Andouille when you are KNOWN for having Andouille?? I wasn't born yesterday, that's just bad customer service and I was really looking forward to liking this place.

Great food and service. This is a hidden gem in LaPlace that I'm so glad I found. I'll certainly be back with family & friends!
