just moved to the area and tried them for the first time,sorry Starbucks you may be good ,but, PJs is definitely better.

I have spent many hours over the last 20 years doing my own work while drinking coffee and eating snacks at this location. Love the large window and the Oak trees that are visible right across the parking lot. The workers are very friendly, and the atmosphere is friendly. This location is not college-age heavy. Here you will find a mix of middle school and high school students, senior citizens, and families, depending on the day and time of your visit. I used to do work there until 9PM until they started closing at 6PM. There are no large college-aged student groups around to drink up late coffee in this neighborhood, so it was probably a wise business decision, but the change bummed me out.
This is one of my favorite PJ’s , the other being in Chalmette . The people are courteous , fast & polite . The coffee shop was clean and the food was really good . We got breakfast sandwiches ,chocolate chip cookies , and cake balls to go with our fabulous medium roast coffee .
