Called and was on hold for 10 minutes the was told that the strawberries will be ready in 30 minutes. Got there and was told they are not selling strawberries today. After I mentioned what was told to me on the phone the said they would make them! The cashier was not friendly at all! I asked if they had cheesecake stuffed strawberries and she stated no we don’t sell thoes but I just purchased them from them last week!nnI definitely will never shop again!

My wife had ordered 2 dozen strawberries a few days ago and payed over phone. She did forget to pick them up (sometimes a forgetful mind with 3 kids) but never a call back from the business or anything for a reminder. When she called the lady today they stated they don’t keep strawberries over night and had thrown them away. The owner/manager stated they would make some more but for a cost. Not sure how they do business but certainly don’t seem right and won’t buy from this place again. Never had a problem before have stopped and ate there a many a time previously....not again.

I wanted to give a 4-star, but Uptown Downtown missed the mark on too many things. To-go lunch bags come with cutlery but not napkins. The main menu above the counter doesn't include their lunch menu which is a not-so-easily noticed paper menu near the register and the staff bickered with each other while taking orders. The brisket sandwich is sliced, not chopped, so eating it out of a sandwich likely results in it all falling out on your first bite. Overall the experience was disappointing and in need of finishing touches. The location and presentation of the shop is very good, a shaded outdoor seating area being a welcome feature. I thought the tomato basil soup was good and I'd get it again.
