Nice outdoor park about the old railroad depot in Council Grove.
This is a nice park. What it lacks in playground equipment it makes up in historic information. There is a small playground with swings and a teeter totter. There is a small train engine to play on as well as a real caboose that is can climb on (you can't go inside it though). The calaboose (prairie jail) is located in this park as well as a train depot, all with information signs. There is a grassy area that's great for the kids to stretch their legs after being in the car too long and some picnic tables as well as a port-a-pot.
Interesting history. Clean, well maintained park.
Almost a museum as much as a park, with a variety of historical attractions.
