Very family friendly campground. The staff at check in were very nice. Grounds are clean and well kept. Nice pond to fish. Lots of back in sites and a few pull through. The only reason I didn’t rate as a 5 star is because two of the pull through sites are right on top of each other. I was in one of them. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to this area. The owners are very military friendly which I appreciate.

We stayed at Leisure Acres for a month (mid-Dec 2020 thru mid-Jan 2021), stayed in site #32 in a 37’ 5th wheel. The park’s laundry room and bath house were spotless and very well maintained. Why then only 2 stars? Several reasons: 1). When I called several months in advance to make our reservation, the man steered me to site #32, telling me it was great and we’d enjoy it. Not true! 2). Site #32 should not even be a site. It is too tight with the sites beside it, making it very difficult for people to get in with their rigs. We even had to move our truck so that people could get in. 3). The entire time we were there, site #32 was a total mud hole! It never dried up! 4). When we arrived and saw our spot, we asked if we could be moved to another spot. The man at the desk laughed at us and told us that wasn’t possible. 5). There are other sites across the road that are larger and cheaper, but we weren’t even offered one of those. Not even told about them. We found out by talking to other RVers.nnLots of folks love Leisure Acres and call it their go-to park. I can’t say that was our experience. If you go to Leisure Acres, just avoid site #32. Maybe your stay will be better than ours.

Beautiful place. There is a lake for catch and release. The sites are on a hill. Some above the lake some below. Because of the hill it could be difficult for large rigs to maneuver. However there is a road blocked by signs that can be removed for better access. Our site was not completely leveled. Smaller units would be able to manage but larger ones, not so sure. We didn't use any of their facilities. Registration was easy and friendly. Off the beaten path and very quiet at night. I decided on a rating of 4 because of the site leveling.
