The rating is for the poor customer service, not the cut. I had an 11am appointment with Jay of April 9, 2021. I just moved to the area and he was the closest barber with nearly exceptional reviews. Today must have been the day that his excellent customer service went on vacation! I arrived promptly as I always do. I firmly believe time is money and would never want to play with anyone's money or time. I guess Jay didn't look at his schedule because he had someone else in his chair at 10:57am and proceeded to cut, joke, laugh, and talk with his customer who hardly had any hair them until 11:30am! It was at this point that the other barber Carrie alerted him that I was his appointment. I guess he doesn't bother to check his schedule, or new customers don't matter when you have an established clientele. Either way, Carrie completed my cut. I'm thankful for her, but it was a horrible customer service experience. I won't be back.

Carrie and Jay are great people and give amazing haircuts. The day Carrie cut my hair for the first time I knew I didn't need to look elsewhere as long as she was available, and after about 5-6 haircuts I feel the same way. And I always enjoy getting to chat with Jay and other customers during my cuts as well (if you wanna sit in silence with your eyes closed that's fine too). Highest recommendation from me!

Jay is a true professional. I have now been having Jay cut my hair for the past 2 years & highly recommend his services. His haircuts are great value for the level of service that he provides. The barbershop has a great vibe, a traditional look to it, and there is always great music playing. Jay carries on great conversation during the haircut & is very personable. I have since referred a number of friends to see him & they have all had great experiences as well. Go see Jay at Traditional Shavemasters for your next haircut!

I just moved here from NY a few months ago and I'm pleased to say I found my barber. Great atmosphere and a stellar cut. I highly recommend this shop if you need a professional and someone who takes pride in their trade. Thanks Jay.

First visit and I now have a new barber! Carrie is phenomenal! She is extremely conscious of her work and meticulous. It is evident of her love for the profession. She explained everything and took her time making sure I was given the cut I requested.This facility is very pleasant, clean and professionally managed. Even though the owner, Jay didn't cut my hair, he also engaged with me and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed! My only regret is I didn't find Traditional Shave Masters sooner! This is definitely my new home! I'm going to bring my husband and daughter on board as well. Thanks again Carrie and Jay for making my day ud83dude0a!!!
