I am not from New York but I have been eating at delis in Atlanta areas for around 50 years.nNothing can compete with memories of the past but in my opinion Brooklyn Bagel is one the better deli in metro Atlanta.nBut being a real deli rather than a chain means each visit can be a little adventurous.nIf you like the feel of Einsteins this probably not the place for you.nnAt Brooklyn there always a little tension in the air this comes from the owner, who I sometimes think is going to have a heart attack before I get my lunch . But it simply becomes he wants everything perfect. Often it's not, but the the food is worth it.nnBagels are excellent if you like real new York style bagels not the junk they sell at the grocery store.nHuge selection of sandwiches with combinations of meats you can only get in a few places.nnLarge selections of side dishes and cream cheese spreads.nPastry is just fair, probably better to leave the calories for something else.nBut overall my go to place for a great deli sandwich on a fresh bagel.nnTo an unnamed employee, you are late!
So freakin good. Crunchy bagels on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. And my favorite...loaded with cream cheese. Great meat or veggie bowls, too.
This place is delicious and has great customer service. Every single time I have visited, I have been treated so kindly whether dine in or curbside pickup, I've had a great experience. Their veggie cream cheese is yummy but everything I've eaten here has been quality! I hope they open another location. I've been driving 30 minutes away just to eat here.
The 5 stars are for the bagels and bagels sandwiches. Best bagels I have had. Lines move fast. The rest of the food is OK.
This place never fails to impress. They have awesome dishes for fair pricing, there are no long waits even when the spot is loaded.
