Disappointing service, maybe they only care about large jobs. We reached out for an inspection and a quote for finishing a room to make it into a kitchen. Almost a month later we emailed them to ask for the quote only to receive a quote that was hastily put together, generic, and charging us for more work than we needed/were asking for. That already seemed scammy. I expressed my concerns and they said they would send it back to their tech and asked for pictures of any plans or blueprints - which they should have received initially from the tech who came out and took pictures of our room and our plans. They apologized, said they were told to put together a generic quote, and said they would work to get our quote updated. That was July 1st, two months ago, and we never heard from them again.nnDefinitely not the service I was expecting after reading so many positive reviews. I even mentioned in one of my emails for them to please let us know if they were too busy for our job - that was ignored. When we called to set up the initial appointment, we were told to expect their master electrician. Someone else showed up, which is understandable, but did not have any of the PPE they said that they all wore inside every home - mask, gloves, shoe coverings, and the tech who showed up only got a mask when I requested it. I'm not sure what happened to the notes and pictures he took, the whole situation is shady and unprofessional.nnCan't say I would recommend them for anything.

I have used Thomas & Sons now for two projects in two different homes, and they are consistently WONDERFUL. They communicate rapidly, and are willing to schedule by e-mail, which is so much more convenient for me. They are available soon, and always confirm the appointment. The first time they came, it was for an outdoor project which they completed in the pouring rain rather than leaving me without power and having to reschedule. This week they have installed new light fixtures in bedrooms - a long, messy and involved job. The two gentlemen who did this worked hard, fast, and were so conscientious about cleaning up and wanting to leave the place as though no one had been there. There were willing to work with non-standard parts, and just thoroughly pleasant. Additional bonus - unlike many companies, Thomas & Sons posts their prices on their website, and even gave me a discount for having more than one piece done at once. I love this company!

Awesome car buying experience with thomas and sons. Bought an F150 there and couldnt have asked for better service or a better truck. Very good on following up and checking on ya after a few weeks. 5 stars all day!

very professional, pleasant, quick, and not expensive. Had an electrical issue in bathroom that stumped my handyman and another electrician. Called EF Thomas due to their reviews and that they are in my area. First, someone actually answered the phone even though it was midday and was ready to take my information; and the person was friendly, professional, and responsive. My experience has been that that is highly unusual in the trade business. Second, the person who answered the phone was able to contact the master electrician while I was on the line and give me an ETA of when they could come out and service my issue. They were out in less than an hour and within minutes the master electrician was able to troubleshoot and resolve my issue -- that had stumped both my handyman and another electrician. The added bonus was that they were extremely reasonably priced!! I will use them for all electrical issues and needs from now on.
