Don't bother-RUDE. We attempted to get lunch here. They only had tables on the side deck in the sun at a table with an umbrella. Ok, no problem. There were 4 of us, one side of the table did not have a chair, so I pulled a chair from another table over. I was told that I could not move any chairs because of social distancing rules. THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE ON THE SIDE DECK. They expected 2 of us to sit on one side of a 4 top, in the sun, leaving one shaded side unused. When we objected, they said blame the governor and told us to leave. We understand the need for social distancing. But they are clearly not understanding the meaning of the rules.

This was a pleasant surprise....Located across the street from the Historic Tybee Lighthouse and on the grounds of Fort Screven...AT NORTH BEACH...nTHEE IS LOTS OF HANDICAPPED PARKING AND LOTS ON LIGHTHOUSE SIDE AS WELL AS THE OCEAN SIDE OF TH BUILDING....THERE ARE NICE CLEAN RESTROOMS, TRASH CAN SITES...THERE IS A HANDICAP RAMP !nTHE SALTY PELICAN HAS A EXCELLENT SHORT ORDER MENU FOR YOUNG AND OLD !!!nORDER TO GOnOR OUTSIDE SEATING..!nDARRELL HAS A DAILY LUNCH SPECIAL FOR $9nTODAY , I HAD FRIED CHICKEN, CORN, AND FRIED OKRA....LET ME TELL YOU IT WAS MAMAS HOME COOKING GOOD. !nYepyep. The price is right AND THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE....!!!nTHE PALM TREES AND THE OCEAN BREEZE TURNS THE PORCH INTO A AWESOME ISLAND ATMOSPHERE TO CHILL WHILE YOU ENJOY YOUR MEAL!!!nTHE BIRDS WERE HUNGRY AND SO FRIENDLY, THEY ATE OUT OF MY HAND...THAT WAS SOOOO AWESOME !nSo if you are hungry and on Tybee...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you eat with DARRELL at the SALTY PELICAN .nYou wont be sorry !!Its all there. !!!nI am looking g forward to THURSDAY AND HIS POT ROAST SPECIAL WITH THE TRIMMMMMMMNGS...nYUMMY YUMMY YUMMY.

Good food for a reasonable price. Ate there two days in the row. The Philly Cheese steak was fantastic!

The service was great. The food not so much. The french fries was the best part from all 4 of our meals.
