I had 2 faulty engines shipped to me. The first ran in the truck for about 5 minutes before developing a bad engine sqeal, pulled the engine out to find bad main bearings in the 6 and 7 main caps. Second engine that came in was looked over and leak down tested before installing the truck. Engine had 16 out of 24 valves bent and did not seal causing heavy leakage out the exhaust and intake valve seats. Black's has taken a year now to finally just refund me, and only a partial refund was issued and the rest was not because they felt that they shouldn't have to eat the shipping costs. Unfortunately I would look for other options for quality built engines with a warranty that is backed up.

Horrible customer service. No return calls or emails have been with out my truck for 2 years now from poor service. Would like to get a response from Ashley.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A NEW MOTOR!!!!!!!!nnIt took them over a year to get me a motor that didn’t knock that I could use in my truck it seemed Ashley was much more concerned about his drag truck than his motor company very rarely answering the phone or being in the officennNow for the warranty nightmare I’m now in this motor over $15,000 thanks to this amazing company after having to install uninstall and then reinstall 2 motors.nnLong story short just go somewhere else this place is awful

Cant say enough good things about these guys, they did a top notch job on my truck, if you own a diesel and are looking for more performance and reliability out of then look no further, I'm looking forward to working with these guys in the future to make my truck the best it can be.. I would recommend them to anyone
