AdLib Theatre

Being a member of this community is one of the most rewarding experiences I could ask for. Everyone is welcome, and the environment offers performers a fun and creative safe space to play.

Here’s the thing: Don’t come here if you want to either learn Improv or watch good Improv. SAK Comedy Lab is a far better experience, both watching and learning. The trainers at SAK are actual paid improvers and very talented. You never know what level of instruction you’ll get at Adlib. Likewise, for the performances, which can be painful to watch.

I was so happy that AdLib Theatre opened and provided an opportunity to learn long form improv in Orlando! I am an actor and have been wanting to take improv classes for a while. Long form improv has been the perfect fit for what I am looking for. The scene work and relationship building that you learn is invaluable as an actor. Plus, it is a lot of fun! Lauren Morris is an amazing teacher who has a true passion for improv. She keeps the classes small which provides for great personal attention and tons of practice. Lauren also guarantees students stage time which is invaluable for an improviser. AdLib holds shows every Saturday at 8 pm and drop in classes on Mondays at 7 pm. I highly recommend AdLib Theatre! I was hooked after the first class and have been there over two years.
