Welbourne Nursery and Preschool

Two of my children have attended Welbourne Nursery and Preschool, and they are honestly the best daycare that any of my kids have been to. My son is now currently in kindergarten, but my youngest daughter still goes there. They now send out updates about your child throughout the day so you know how much they eat, activities they are doing, and how your child is behaving. All of the staff is very sweet and like family for my little girl. Also, during these difficult times with covid, they have made such great efforts to keep everybody safe and healthy. As a mom of three I definitely recommend Welbourne if you're looking for a great daycare, it's like a second home for so many kiddos!

Our children have been attending Welbourne since they were in the infant classroom, for over 3 years! Welbourne has always been a warm and welcoming place for our children to grow and learn. The teachers and staff are dedicated and genuinely care for all the children. Many of them have been working at the school for several years which speaks volumes about the environment. Recently the school has made several updates and modifications for COVID-19 safety and technological upgrades like ProCare app system that gives parents up to date info and even pictures of their child's school day. We feel so lucky to have a school like Welbourne for our children to attend-they really are like an extended family and we appreciate everything they do for us as our children's care takers and educators!

Welbourne has been a home away from home for our son. We are so grateful to have found a loving community to care for our son while we work. A place where he is safe, nurtured, and educated.

I am a former educator and spent a lot of time in various schools in the past and in my opinion, Welbourne has to be one of the best schools I have witnessed. I am currently in nursing school and my husband works all day long, so we prayed and prayed for the right school to send our twins and we were led to Welbourne. The school is safe, the director and the ENTIRE staff is super professional, patient, and friendly, they care for your kids like they are their own kids, the curriculum is AMAZING, the cafeteria lady is the best (and for parents who also have kids with dietary issues, she is super vigilant and pays attention to whether they are eating, what they are or aren't eating at the school). They are gated with wonderful security measures. They receive a lot of support and resources from the Winter Park community, and they keep up with the latest technological advances. They utilize the Procare app and my husband and I love reading the updates of what our children are doing throughout the day. They have managed to be one of the few schools that have managed to stay open and have minimal covid cases throughout the pandemic with their vigilance, frequent temperature checks, and mandatory frequent handwashing throughout the day. They truly will give parents like me peace of mind.

Welbourne Avenue Nursery is beyond amazing! I have 2 babies at the school (7 months and 2 years) and they love the teachers, the staff, the atmosphere. The smile that lights up my babies' faces when they see their teachers makes my heart so happy. The staff is GREAT at communication and Ms LaTonya (the director) is extremely professional and has obvious love and care for her staff and all the children. I highly recommend Welbourne Ave nursery to anyone.
