Pretty spot. All camp sites are on the lake's edge and there were plenty of openings even for a weekend. Watch the drive in and out if you have a long trailer, you will bottom out. The property isn't mowed well or kept flat and smooth (holes, etc.). To my surprise, the restrooms were really nice. Hot water took a minute or two to get hot but the showers are very large and new tile. No place to set your dry cloths or a bar of soap through. Was mostly quiet overnight except for an occasional trail going by. You could hear dogs barking nearby on and off and chickens somewhere in the morning. Unfortunately fresh manure was what woke us up in the morning. Overall not a bad place but could be much better.

It's a hidden Gem, Price $30 to $50 payed parking. The town is deceiving to see what awaits you at this over the hill they call dyke.nNice showers. Marina here. You have to call, not on website reservations. Plenty of room. Recommended you drive 18 miles to Winn Dixie to purchase food. Good Sam excepted here. Love the Okeechobee lake.

The staff was okay. They could definitely be a little more friendly and welcoming. The views are amazing. All sites are right against the water. Bring bug spray, but it is beautiful.

The campsites are fairly close together but that's only a problem if they are really full. Couple of times I've stayed there I had lots of empty spots on either side of me. The pool is open but the bar is closed (COVID-19). Bicycling on the levee is really fun. The tow of Pahokee has a small grocery store sometimes there's a food truck that serves really good Jamaican style curried goat with rice.
