Clay Springs Elementary School

I love Clay Springs Elementary in the things that they are teaching their children are Magnificent the staff is awesome my son attended clay springs for 3 years.

my 2 children attend the YMCA after school program at Clay Springs Elementary in Apopka Florida. Today I was approached by Amanda. I'm not sure what her position is but I walked in to pick up my kids from the club and as I was signing them out she slams her hands on the table and says very rudely that my kids could no longer be in the program because she doesn't have a working number for me. I stated to her that as I were getting out of my vehicle I was receiving a call from the school and I did not pick up because I was walking in. She said that it was unnacceptable. I was 5 minutes late! This lady rolled her eyes and snatched the book off the table even before I was able to sign my daughters out of the book. This is unacceptable behavior especially in front of my kids! She needs to be reported. Her attitude is unprofessional!

The new principal and administrative staff are warm and engaging. The school is well on its way to regaining its A grade. The school has a great connection to Wekiva Springs State Park. The children are learning about the school's natural history and what it takes to preserve their community's environment. I am especially happy about the building which isn't yet on Google maps.
