I have been going to this place since they opened 15 years ago. It is a mix of locals and tourists. The food is great, the service is great and the people are friendly. Try this place out and you will not be disappointed. Tell Sam the owner that “Grumpy” sent you in. He’s a good guy and does his best. Everyone there does their best. ud83dudc4d to the Cortez Cafe.
First time here! It was great! I was in, served, and out. Loved hearing the fishing stories from the locals. Also located near Cortez Village. Which is full of history. Made me feel like I was sitting somewhere really special. Food was good.
This is absolutely mine and my husband's favorite place in Bradenton to eat breakfast. The food is fantastic, the portions are huge, the grits are like no other and the staff are incredible. The owner Sam strives to b the best and Cortez is!
Quaint little hometown cafe’. The biscuits & gravy was fabulous, real sausage gravy! The full order was huge!
If you ain’t fancy and want no nonsense good food, get in here! Come early, it’ll be busy!
