Lots of parking. This area of the park has nice patches of milkweed. There are some short trails through shady trees then they open up into grasslands. There is a nice pond about half a mile from the trail head. One thing to note here, as with the battlefield in whole, is the abundance of Lonestar ticks. There are public restrooms at this location as well. If you are into the parks history, this probably isn't the place for you. There are a few historical markers talking about former land owners, but not much else.
